Health Department Closed on November 25th - 27th
The Frederick County Health Department will be closed on Wednesday, November 25th for a State mandated closure due to budget constraints. Dental and Infant and Toddlers services will still be available through the Frederick County Developmental Center. If you visiting the Health Department for one of those services you will only be able to enter the building through Entrance "D". The entire Health Department will also be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on November 26th and 27th.

Bidle Road Bridge Closure
The Bidle Road Bridge will be closed starting Wednesday, March 11th for construction. Weather conditions permitting, the project is scheduled for completion by Winter 2009/2010. The contractor who will be completing the construction is Ross Contractors. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Troy Creighton with Ross Contractors at 301-831-5500 or Rex Pearce, Project Manager, Office of Transportation Engineering at 301-600-2937.
Roads Board Meeting
The Frederick County Roads Board will be meeting on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 7:00 pm. The meeting is held in the Winchester Room located on the 2nd floor of Winchester Hall, 12 East Church Street. If you would like additional information, please contact 301-600-2336.
