Women’s Annual O.P.E.N. Golf Tournament - Oct. 1
The Fifth Annual Annual Women’s O.P.E.N. (Offering Philanthropy, Education, and Networking!) will be held at the Musket Ridge Golf Club in Myersville on Thursday, October 1, 2009. Proceeds from the event will support the FCCFW’s mentoring project to benefit women in Frederick County. The program, Woman to Woman – Building Success for Life – was launched at the Tournament’s dinner.

Registration for Diabetes Prevention Program - Oct. 22
Power to Prevent is a 12-week program that helps adults who have and are at risk for type 2 diabetes to become more physically active and to eat healthier more often. Spanish interpretation available for registration session on 10/22.
