Two dynamic organizations joined forces in 2005 to become Frederick County Workforce Services, a new Frederick County Government agency within the Division of Economic Development. Formerly known as Frederick County JTA and Maryland Job Service, the new partnership and name represent the vast expansion of services available to both businesses and job seekers.With its other workforce partners at the Business and Employment Center, Frederick County Workforce Services offers a wide range of top-notch recruitment, retraining and retention programs, and is proud to serve as a valued resource for the Frederick community.
