The Emergency Food Assistance Program (State of MD DHR) and Frederick County Government have a common interest and goal of providing emergency food resources to families in Frederick County.
The Citizens Services Division in partnership with the Department of Human Resources oversees food distributions to local food banks.
Eight (8) food banks currently operate within Frederick County to distribute food to families in emergency situations.
