Free immunizations are provided for uninsured or underinsured children. For children who have health insurance which covers the cost of vaccines, vaccines are offered on a fee-for-service basis.

The Health Department does not bill insurance companies for vaccinations. If your child has health insurance, call your child's health care provider to schedule your child's vaccinations.


For College-Bound Students and Adults
Vaccines for college-bound students and adults are offered on fee-for-service basis.

The following vaccines are currently offered: 
  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
  • Gardasil
  • Measels, Mumps & Rubella (MMR)
  • Meningitis
  • Pneumonia
  • Tetanus
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox)
  • Zostavax (For the prevention of shingles)

Flu Clinics
  • Held annually at various locations throughout the County. 
  • Vaccination against influenza (flu) is recommended for children 6 months of age and older.
  • Flu shots and FluMist® (Nasal-spray vaccine) are available for children and adults.
    • FluMist® is approved for healthy individuals 2 - 49 years old.
  • Watch for notification of dates and times.

  • Call (301) 600-3342 to schedule an appointment.
  • Available appointment times for children and adults are Wednesdays from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
