AARP, in cooperation with the Department of Aging, sponsors the Driver Safety Course. This is a classroom refresher designed to meet the needs of elderly drivers.
The course covers age-related physical changes, declining perceptual skills, rules of the road, local driving problems and license renewal requirements.
Some companies offer a discount on insurance premiums for those who successfully complete the course. |
