The Phone Loan Program has been instituted to provide any Frederick County citizen 60 or older with a cell phone.
All phones are keyed to 9-1-1 ONLY and cannot be used for personal outgoing or incoming calls. Phones are available at no cost.
Those wishing to take advantage of the Phone Loan program should contact the Department of Aging at least 24 hours in advance to allow time for the cell phone to be charged.
Instructions on using the cell phone, including a "test" call, will be given at the time of pick-up. |
