Legal Assistance


 

The Department contracts with a local legal services provider to offer Frederick County citizens 60 and older legal advice as well as representation when necessary. This service is funded through the Older Americans Act.

 

Community Education

 

Our legal services provider can offer community education as well as outreach to homebound individuals and those in long-term care facilities. Also available is advice about elder law issues and legal rights.
