The Office of Transportation Engineering administers system wide programs to maintain and improve the County transportation network. We monitor road, bridge, and traffic conditions in order to optimize mobility and safety for the traveling public. |

Responsibilities:
- Administer existing Capital Improvement Projects, plan future projects.
- Collect and analyze traffic data.
- Conduct safety reviews, make spot improvements.
- Administer bridge maintenance program, determine bridge weight ratings.
- Collect road surface condition data, develop repair prioritization.
- Design road sign and striping plans.
- Maintain existing traffic signals, plan new.
- Maintain existing guardrail, plan new.
